Taylor Swift
I like Taylor Swift. She is American and singer. I didn't know her. However I like her song when I watched Music station, which is Television program. I like her songs which are love story, mine, you belong with and so on. I have her CD album. Recently she sell new album, which are Speak now. There are favorite songs. I listen it on the walkman. The story of Anne Frank
I think she is very famous people. because I studied about her things when I was junior high school students.
She wrote down diary. It is very important things. The date was July 6, 1942- the day Ann's family had to go into hiding. They were hiding because they were Jewish and Jews were being terrorised by the Nazi rulers of Germany. The Franks were afraid that they would be noticed on the long walk to their hiding place. For two years, she was not allowed to go outside and had to quiet for most of the day. Anne described her life in her life in her diary.
On July 13, another Jewish family, hermann and Auguste van pels and their son Peter, came to stay in the secret annexe. The families in hiding were always afraid that they would be discovered. They were found... They had to go camp. After that everyone else from the annexe had died.
When I read the book, I was very sad. Because there are no similar things. I can not believe it. If I live in the age, I can not bear. I think there are discrimination in the world. Everyone should study more. There are black face and white face. It looks very different , but both of people. so we must not do discrimination. I read book before. There are different from punishment in the USA. I can not believe. If I meet people who are several country's characteristic. But I want talk with them. I don't want do discrimination.

Benjamin Franklin
Do you know him? He was president of America and inventor. When I read the book I felt he was strict. But he was very genius. American dollars was printed him. He invented lightning rod, heater, grasses and harmonica. He didn't study long time. however he invented many things and made library in Philadelphia United staid of America at first. I read his biography in Japanese before. However it made me boring. He i so nice..... However if he didn't invent many things and be president of America, the world might not be well. So I think most of American respect to him. And he said many good things. I read before. If you have time, please check internet his famous saying. Probably you will say nice! My test in this semester
I take many test now. And this year I have reports and I took test the last class.
I think speaking test was a little difficult. Because A class read c class students when we took debate. I think I can do that.....However I can not find. I want to get credit which is speaking class.
We had "presentation of my name" at the last Speaking class. My name is Ai. There are same name in this country. However there are not same last name and family name in my speaking class. I researched many things. I posted the presentation. Please check it out!! There are many types of last name and family name. I enjoyed to watch and listen another presentation. my friend's birthday present
My friend birthday is on January 30. I thought what should I give present for her.... I went housetenboss, school festival, watched firework and ate big pafe and so on. We spend many times. So we took many pictures. I found I make album for her. I bought a album, card, seal and I developed pictures. Probably I know some her friends. ( However she is not majoring English Another class!) Farewell party
I went to farewell party at the international dorm. My friends will come back each country. My friends from England, China, Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam. I went to Round1 with them before. I was enjoying. And I talked with them when we met in university. They are very kind and speak Japanese well. I enjoy when I talk to them. So I miss them.....

Come of age ceremony
January 10, I had come of age ceremony. I live in Kumamoto, so I went to ceremony in Kumamoto city.
Most of woman wear kimono when they are twenty years old. Kimono is traditional clothes in Japan. Japanese women can wear kimono three times at least. It was hichigosan and come of age ceremony. However men can wear hakama. Kimono is different from hakama. Women wear kimono when they were three years old, seven years old and twenty years old. I wear kimono which color was green, when I was three years old, seven years old. It was not mine, so I can not choose color. But now, I can choose color , so I choose pink. Because it is my favorite color. I chose kimono for one years ago. Most of people told me, you chose kimono first. we will wear next year. But I chose first. Because there were many kinds of kimono and price. At first I wore another color. However The Kimono didn't be suited to me. Finally my parents , my sisters and staff told me "you suit kimono which color pink!!!" I was pleased because my favorite color.
On December forth, I wore kimono and I took many pictures.
On the come of age ceremony. I got up five o'clock. I was sleepy, but I was excited because I could wear kimono and make up my face. I put on nail which was many decoration when I wear kimono. However I pain my nail instead on I put on decoration nail. Because I couldn't do many things. Oh! But I put on both decoration nail color and pain nail color on Pink!!!
I went beauty salon. I changed my hair and I wear kimono. maybe I spent about two hours. After that I went to ceremony. There were many people and many kinds of kimono. It was sooooo qute!!! However there was not same color and design kimono!! I met many friends who were same university's friends, high school's friends and junior high school's friends. I've not met and talked for a long time. I talked many people and I took many pictures with my friends. I was very excited!!
After the ceremony my friends and I went to cafe where was my part time job place. I met staff. And We ate lunch. I ate waffle and strawberry and ice cream and milk tea set. It was delicious!!
After that I came home soon because I would go to alumni association. There were elementary school to junior high school friends. At first I didn't find who ...I talked many friends."Where do you work now?""What do you do?""Long time no see!! How are you?" There were many questions each other. I took many pictures again. When I have the camera, I will show you!! I had very very very good time. I want to wear kimono again!! Senior told me you can wear kimono when your sisters and your friends wedding! The strory of chocolate
Do you like chocolate? I think most of people would answer "YES!". Of course I love chocolate!!! We eat an average nine kilograms of chocolate per person per year. That's about 180 chocolate bars each!!! I can not believe. However I think I eat chocolate more than average. If I tire to study and work part time job, I often eat chocolate. Sometimes I eat almond chocolate. I watched beauty television program before, there were "Almond made us beauty. If you feel hungry, you should eat almond. It was not make us fat. So I eat almond and chocolate when I feel hunger. I think I can eat favorite things, but we are not fat!!! Fabulous!!!
Do you know what is source. It is cocoa beans. Pods grow on the cacao trees and inside the pods are seeds called cocoa(KO-ko) beans. These coca beans are the magic ingredient in chocolate. In 1753, the Swedish scientist Linnaeus gave the cacao tree its scientific name, Theobroma cacao, meaning "food of the gods". It was well known that he liked chocolate!! I didn't know that.
In about four months, the cocoa pods grow to the size of melon. It takes another month before they are full ripe. Each pod contains about forty cocoa beans surrounded by by sticky white pulp. There are the precious beans that make chocolate.
Both the Mayans and Aztecs used cocoa beans to make a drink known as chocolatl. The beans were dried and crushed, and then mixed with water. The Mayans drank chocolatl hot, whilst the Aztecs drank it cold. They often added such as chilli or vanila. The taste must have been very bitter. In fact, the word chocolate is said to mean "bitter water". Chocolate was served on served on special occasions. The land where cacao trees grew became very valuable.
After that, in 1492, Christopher Columbus and his son found canoe which was ridden by mayans. Christopher Columbus familiarize it Spain and Europe.
By the 1650s, Europeans were drinking chocolate at fashionable cafes called chocolate houses. In 1660, Princess Maria Teresa of Spain married King LouisⅥⅤ of France. Maria Teresa liked chocolate so much that she had a special maid to make it for her. Soon, the rich French families began copying their new queen and likes the taste, too.
In 1765, the first American chocolate factory opened in Massachusetts, United Staid of America. In the 1840, the chocolate kinds of chocolate business boomed.
Today, there are many kinds of chocolate treats- bars, biscuits, cakes, ice cream and many others.
Before, I post blog , which title and content was "My favorite chocolate." I talked chocolate, which were "Baccas" and "Rummy" . However I like chocolate too much after I read the book. I didn't know many things. It was wrong to say I love chocolate, because I didn't know chocolate's history. But now, I know now!! I like Japanese chocolate better than another country's chocolate. I took souvenir, which were chocolates. When I gave them chocolates, they were pleased. I was sure Japanese chocolate is very nice. My favorite class
My favorite class is Speaking class. Because there are not many classmates and we study many kinds of Speaking. Of course, there are nice teacher! And we can talk each other.
We interview, listening songs, watching DVD and do presentations and so on. It is very interesting. However speaking class is last time. Because it isn’t compulsory subject third year. I can learn Japanese English when I talk with Japanese students in English. Next year I won’t learn it.
So I want to go English lounge frequently. And I continue to study English my self. Thereof, I listen to music , watch DVD in English and research something interesting and so on. I think it will be good speaker in English. I miss the Speaking class!!! (130 words)

Fifth recording script
I'm going talk about Italian restaurant in Kumamoto. My favorite the restaurant is Jolly Pasta. There are many kinds of pasta and pizza. I often eat Carbonara. Sometimes I eat meat and cheese tomato pasta. After that I eat desserts. I eat cake and Tiramisu. I like it. However there are not many kinds of desserts.

Presentation of my name.
Hello everyone. My name is Ai Shimada. I'm going to talk about my name.
Do you know how many people same family name ? I didn't know that. So I researched it. There are same family name 12,573 (twelve thousand- five hundred seventy three. ) And my first name is famous. This is ranking. Second place is in 1981 and 1982. first place is in 1983~1990. Second place is in 1991~1994. It is very popular.
Shima, it mean island. Most of people who have shima, they have the shima. My name of the shima is rare. The kanji is mountain plus bird. Ta is field. Ai mean love. a strong feeling of deep affection for somebody something, especially a member of your family or a friend.
Why did my parents name me Ai? My parents want me to be loved by everyone and I love everyone. So they called Ai.
Famous people. She is Ai Kato. She is actress. And she is Ai Fukuhara. She is table tenice player. She is Ai Otsuka and Ai takahashi. They are singer.
Do you know him? He is Naoe Kanetsugu. His symbol was Ai. But it doesn't the love. Recently history is very famous, so there are nice goods. It is interesting because of my name.

I read a book which is Love actuary. There are many story in the story before Christmas to Christmas. It is British comedy. The scene of this story are in The United of Kingdom and United states of America. There are several stories, but finally most of all linked. Including love story.
I think I've never like the Christmas. because there are not like it in Japan. Japanese Christmas is quiet. And most of people think that Christmas is not important, so they don't spend with themselves family. I think they should spend with them family. And there aren't not decoration like the movie. I felt there are many Christmas goods, everyone feel good and excited. I wanna spend foreign country's christmas.

My winter vacation ( January)
2011!!!!! However I cannot feel new year.... there were not interesting TV program. So I watched DVD!!! I watched Toy story 3, Coraline to botann no majyo and Darin ha gaikokuzin. I think it was more interesting than TV program. Next time I'll post review of these DVD.
On January second, I worked job. I worked so hard again. But next day, I went to Fukuoka with my family. First I went to Dazaifu tennmanngu. After that, we went to Tennzin Fukuoka. I've never been to downtown at Fukuoka, so I was so enjoying!! I bought clothes, bags and accessory and so on.I want to go Fukuoka again!!! (109 words)

I bought new things
Recently I bought two things.
First I bought Walkman, which color is pink. I thought which is better i pod or Walkman. However staff told me Walkman is clear music better than i pod. So I decided to buy Walkman. It is very cute!!! I use every day.
Second I bought digital camera. Reason why I bought one. On January 10, I will go to come of age ceremony!!! ( But now I'm nineteen, so I don't feel to come of age....) After the ceremony, I will go to alumni association in elementary school to junior high school. I've not met them. And school teachers. I want to take many pictures! So I'm excited day when is on January 10!!! (120 words)

My favorite time
I like to be my home. So if I don’t have part time job, I am at my house. I don’t go out. I spend to watch DVD, listen music, study and read magazines and so on. Especially I like to take a bath. I put bath additive. There are many kinds of smell and color. My favorite things is milk type. Of course it looks and smell is milk. When I take the bath, my skin is smooth skin. And my family always tell me that you always take a bath so long time. But I don’t think so.... I think to take the bath how was the day. Then I can feel refresh! If I feel sad, I think and cry...after that I feel better. I think it is very important time. So I don’t take a bath quickly!! (143 words)

My favorite winter sports are skating and skiing. I’ve played both of them.
Recently it was held figure skating. I like to watch it at my house, however I’ve never watch real that one. I wanted to watch! There are young player. Especially I like player who is Mao Asada. She is same years old and same student. I think she always try the best. I think she is same years old. I want to try every things like her.
Second I like to play ski. When I was high school student , I played it in Nagano. We can not play at Kumamoto. Because there are not snow. I want to play again. Someday , I will go to ski somewhere.

My favorite phrase is “Thank you”. I like Japanese phrase also. I didn’t have favorite phrase for a few years ago. Yet , I found when I’ve worked part time job. I didn’t work a job until I went to university, so it was first time. Senior staffs taught me so many things because I couldn’t worked well. I was angered by them, told and taught for them. I didn’t want to work job and I was crying and felt sad. However I took calmly what they told me. If they don’t want me to grow, they didn’t tell anything. Then I can feel thank to them. Last Friday I went to Christmas party at the English Lounge. I am the staff. A friend of mine and I had to prepare foods. We ordered Pizza , hors d'oeuvres, drinks and confectionery. However I had special lecture at the same time. So I only eat and drink. I heard that they play interesting games. I passed the MOS which is Power Point license.
I took Microsoft Office Specialist license last Saturday. I've taken special lectures since two weeks ago. It was held after school at 6:00PM to 9:00PM. It was so sleepy. I have licenses which are word and Excel. This time I took Power Point. I was a little difficult test. However I passed the test!! I was so happy. This year I took many licenses. Another things, Communication license, Secretary, computer license, TOEIC and TOEFL. I think I was very solid year. Next year, I want to get high score in the Eigo kentei(English license), the TOEIC and the TOEFL. (100 words)

Fourth recording script
I introduce Italian desserts.
First, Italian chocolate pudding. It is not steamed and baked.
Second, Panna Cotta. Panna means fresh cream and Cotta means steam in Italian. It is put fruits sauce.
Third, Tiramisu. I love the cake, so I eat it when I go to Italian restaurant. I think it is easy to make home the cake. However it use Mascarpone cheese. I cannot buy it normal store. So I cannot make it at home.
Forth, Biscotti. It have many kinds of taste. nuts, caramel, maple and coconuts. I've never made it, so I want try it.
Fifth, Brutti ma Buoni is look like forth desserts, but looks big cookie.
Sixth , Kurosutata. It looks like pie, but it is tart. There are many strawberry. (123 words)

I'm studying very hard!!
I've taken special lecture, which is Microsoft Office Specialist. It is Powerpoint license. I have word and Excel, so if I get the Powerpoint , I will be three computer license. I have reason why I want to get computer license. First, I didn't study more how to use computer. Second I want to work airports in the future. According people who work airports, they have computer licenses and secretary license. For one month ago, I took special lecture which was secretary license and examination. I pass the secretary license!!! I'm very very happy. This weekend I will take the Powerpoint license. I'm studying hard every after class. (110 words)

My favorite the Japanese clothes
There are many kinds of Japanese cloth. Kimono, Hakama, Yukata and so on. I wear yukata every year when is sumer festival. However it is very warm, because there are many people and warm season. But I like it. Last summer, I dressed my sisters yukata. Oh... it made me tired.
There are similar yukata all season clothes, which are Kimono and Hakama. I've worn kimono last weekend. It was great. Most of people told me "It is hard for me to breathe. Because My waist was constrict!!"" However I don't think so. I thought kimono was cool , because we can not wear coat. Yet it was not. I can wear in January. And I will be able to wear hakama in graduation ceremony. (127 words)

I wore kimono yesterday. Because I took pictures because I will be come of age. I will wear the kimono next month when come of age ceremony. I didn't buy the kimono, so I borrow kimono. Because I have little twin sisters. I wore kimono, which color is pink. My favorite color is pink. So I'm very excited and I love it!!! (64 words)

My favorite book
My favorite book is "Chocolate under ground." It is written by Alex Shearer. I posted the author before, so I introduce my favorite his books today. I read the book when I was junior high school. I like to read books, however I haven't been good at read fast. So I always postpone to borrow books. This is a very fat book. So I postpone the book many times. But it was very interested to read one.
I introduce story. There are chocolates anywhere. However, soon, there aren't chocolate. Because president of this country prohibit chocolates. Then a boy like chocolate very much. he want to eat forever. So he does manythings. It was very fun story. I like chocolate too. However he effort ed to eat it!! (129 words)

I introduce kinds of pasta souse. First, type of oil basis. There are peperoncino, vongole and vianko etc. Vongole and vianka are clam in Italian.
Second, type of tomato basis. There are meet souse, napolitain, tomato souse etc.
Third, type of cream basis. There are carbonara, cream souse and tomato cream etc.
Forth, type of Japanese style basis. There are cod roe, soy souse, ume and natto etc.
I introduce four type of souse. However there are another kinds of souce. For example, kind of soup, gratin, lasagna, salad. (86 words)
Beauty salon
I went to beauty salon yesterday. I changed my hair color and cut the hair. I have a reason why I went to there. Next Sunday, I will wear the kimono and take many pictures before the Coming of Age Day!! I will wear furisode, which is color pink. My favorite color is pink. So I'm very happy , I can wear favorite color. I wear many kinds of kimono. However everyone said to me "Pink suits you well!!" Finally I decided to wear one. I'm very looking forward to wear the kimono. (94 words)
